Everyone deserves the chance to find joy and community, especially after hardship. Hope & Hobbies Project was founded by a survivor who found hope and healing through creativity and connection. We believe that pursuing a hobby, learning something new, or simply being with others can be powerful steps toward rebuilding a life.
Our mission is to empower women recovering from domestic violence - and anyone facing life’s challenges - by connecting them with creative outlets, hands-on experiences, and a supportive community. We partner with local artists, businesses, and instructors to open doors to growth, learning, and fun.
Right now, we’re building our foundation and would love to hear from anyone interested in getting involved.
At Hope & Hobbies Project, our mission is to empower women rebuilding after domestic violence - while welcoming any adult facing life’s challenges - by providing the resources and support needed to explore new hobbies. We believe that discovering a new passion can spark healing, build community, and inspire hope. Through fundraising, partnerships, and hands-on programs, we work to break down financial and logistical barriers so every adult has the opportunity to experience the joy and growth that hobbies can bring.
Hope & Hobbies Project was created to help adults find new beginnings through creative exploration. Too often, financial limitations or life’s hardships keep people from discovering activities that could bring them peace, joy, and connection. We step in to bridge that gap - raising funds, partnering with local organizations, and sharing stories of transformation. Whether it’s painting, gardening, music, or something entirely new, we’re here to help every adult reignite curiosity and rebuild a sense of self.
We offer grants, scholarships, and program funding to cover the costs of classes, materials, and equipment for adults eager to try something new. Our focus is on women recovering from domestic violence, but our doors are open to anyone who needs a fresh start after loss, trauma, or major life changes. By partnering with community centers, mental health organizations, and local businesses, we make it easy for adults to access enriching experiences and supportive communities.
